About Us

Households are responsible for the largest portion of all food waste. Approximately 40 to 50 percent of food waste happens at level of the consumer. Decreasing food waste shouldn’t be a burden as well as “throwing away your money in trash” shouldn’t be a norm.

Nowasters is an app that offers you many recipes of how to use the products that are already in your fridge and helps you shop smarter. Save, create and share the recipes and be part of a NOwasters community!

The app:

The app is very easy to use. All you have to do is enter the ingredients you have (or just the ones you want to cook with), and it will give you recipe options with those ingredients. If some ingredients are missing in your home, check them and they’ll automatically will be in your shopping list which can be synchronised with a member of your family, so perhaps they can do the shopping. Save recipes, check all ingredients from as many recipes as you like, and they’ll be added to your list!
